“I cannot put into words how in child centred this service is, from my experience on how supportive you are towards F. I can hand on my heart say that your care, compassion and commitment towards F us deeply felt from not only myself but F too. It’s very rare to find people are so while heartedly committed towards their job, that they inspire others too always give their best in any circumstance, but this is what you do. To know that there are people who care as much as you do brings hope and the feeling of being supported into Fs life.
F always looks forward to seeing you, she talks about you when she doesn’t see you. F says that you are the type of person that doesn’t work for money that you work because you care. In my opinion you are an important part of F microsystem, and you are an important part of her life. F is always in a positive mood before and after seeing you. I know that F trusts you and for her this imperative.
For myself and my partner, knowing that F has you to support her is a great support for us too. Multi-agency working and having a supportive team around the child/team around the family approach is vital in situations such as these, and we could not be more grateful for you. I know that F has a positive attachment towards this service, and to be able to gain this at her age, considering what she has been through is amazing, especially when forming attachments at this age after experiencing trauma is cognitively very difficult to do.
If F was not able to see you, or your visits were cut short, or they weren’t as often would be detrimental for Fs mental health, and I worry the consequences of this would be serious and where the professional accountability would lie.”
