We collect information about you during your use of our website through cookies. 

We collect additional information about you if you undertake any communication with WTW via the website e-form found on the contact us page or by any other means of communication. 

All information gathered by WTW is stored securely.

Your information submitted through the web-form or during the course of any contact with WTW will be gathered to facilitate communication with you regarding your query.

WTW follows government guidelines for sharing safeguarding information.

Walk The Walk Family Support Service (WTW) CIC is a Community Interest Company. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website, our services or contact us with a query.

Purpose

We collect personal data in order to undertake our parenting work with your family.

Your data may be obtained from a direct referral through yourself or have been passed to us by your support worker when they commission work from us.

All information gathered by WTW is stored securely.

Your information will be used to facilitate your case, including information provided by external agencies to inform your caseworker.

Your information may be anonymised for use outside of your case and the data may be compiled for use in statistical research, to generate case studies or for purposes that contribute to the ongoing development of the business or to promote the understanding of Child-to-Parent abuse to a wider audience.

We collect your data in order to facilitate the support commissioned or requested from us by yourselves or your support worker.

Sharing information

Your information will not be shared without your permission expect in cases where a safeguarding issue is deemed to exist and the information needs to be shared with the local safeguarding teams and/or police services.

WTW follows government guidelines for sharing safeguarding information.

If the work has been commissioned by local authorities, information will be shared with the lead worker on the case as and when deemed necessary by the director.

WTW will not share your information for marketing purposes.

Retention period

Data is retained on your case for a period as required by law dependent on the level of the work involving in the case and young persons involved.

Your rights

Your rights under the UK-

GDPR will be respected except in circumstances where we are legally required to retain records and information.

Right of access

You can request access to the information we hold about you, including the source, type of data, whom the data has been shared with and retention period.

Right of rectification

You have the right to request the rectification of any inaccurate data held by us.

Right to erasure

You have the right to request erasure of your data where it does not conflict with our legal duties to retain information on your case.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request a restriction on your processing where it does not conflict with our legal duties to retain information on your case.

Right to data portability

We acknowledge your right to portability of data when it does not infringe on our legal duties to retain information on your case.

Right to object

You have the right to object to our processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation but this may result in our being unable to take your case forward. We are legally obliged to pass your information on in certain circumstances such as safeguarding a child.

Right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling

WTW does not use automated decision-making software.

Right to withdraw consent at any time, where relevant

You may withdraw your consent at any time to our processing your data by contacting the data controller as detailed below. Doing so may end our support for you and your family and your referrer (if you haven’t self-referred) will be notified. Due to safeguarding requirements, we will have to keep your data on file if there is a safeguarding concern as required by law.

The source of your data

The data has been provided either by yourself (in the case of a self-referral) or by a lead worker where your case has been referred to us by statutory authorities.

Phoenix Against Domestic Abuse

The data on this form is collected by the referrer in order to facilitate a referral to Phoenix Against Domestic Abuse. Phoenix Against Domestic Abuse is a service delivered by Walk The Walk Family Support Service CIC.

1. We collect personal data in order to undertake our parenting work with your family.

Your data may be obtained from a direct referral through yourself or have been passed to us by your Lead Worker when they commission work from us.

Your information will be used to facilitate your case, including information provided by external agencies to inform your caseworker.

Your information may be anonymised for use outside of your case and the data may be compiled for use in the following purposes:

  • Statistical research.
  • To generate case studies or for purposes that contribute to the ongoing development of the business. 
  • To promote the understanding of Child-to-Parent Abuse to a wider audience.
